A runtime ROM modification device. This is one of the many Game Genie products available. This version of the game genie works only on the black and white gameboy games and will not work on gameboy color games. Originally all game genies required 9 digit cheat codes to be entered but later models only required the first six digits to be entered. But the last three digits are required for switching a specific ROM bank, so larger games could have a need for this.
There is a way to trick the game genie into working with Gameboy color games but it can damage the cartridge. Click here for more info.
