The Game Mage was a "Game Enhancer" for Super Nintendo that was created by Top Game & Company, a Taiwanese company. No codebook was nessesary as codes are built into the device. When inserting a game Auto Mode will light up on the title screen if the device has codes for it. Game Genie codes work as well.
The port on back of the cartridge was probably meant for a RAM cart called Memory Mouse. The port was redesigned in the PAL version and functions as a second cart slot fo PAL/NTSC conversion.
