A PC version of Action Replay was released in 1994. It has basically become obsolete as nowdays there are plenty of free programs which allow cheats to be used such as trainers. It came pre-loaded with cheats but also included a trainer for finding more. It was also possible to download more codes directly from the website by clicking a box next to the code. According to a review on IGN the codes provided do not always work.[1]
